The Supreme Court of Canada in R. v. Kloubakov, 2025 SCC 25 upheld the conviction of two men who were profiting as “drivers” from the exploitation of women in prostitution. The Court accepted our submission as intervener (the Women’s Equality Coalition) and quoted us on the overrepresentation of the most marginalized women, including Indigenous women as a reflection of profound sexism and sexualized colonialism.
