We are outraged by the fact that a police officer created pornographic images that sexualize horrifying acts of violence against women.

It is absurd to think that Coquitlam, Cpl. Jim Brown’s “personal, private behaviour” has nothing to do with his professional role as a RCMP officer.

Misogynist, sexist behaviour of police officers is one of the key reasons why women do not come forward to report to the police cases of rape and sexist violence. We do not trust this officer and the agency he is a part of to protect women from male violence.
