If you want to speak to someone and get support in Metro Vancouver

Call us at 604 872 8212. Once you are connected with a crisis team, you can schedule times to talk or meet with your crisis team in person.

We are not professional counsellors. We are a collective of feminist women and we provide peer counselling informed by our shared experience of being a woman in this world and experiencing male violence, as well as our decades of working with survivors. All of our services are confidential, free of cost and there is no waitlist.

We also offer support groups and self defence workshops. Please call us at 604 872 8212 for additional information.

If you live in BC but live too far to come meet with us, we can help you find resources closer to you.

If you would like to see a professional counsellor but need financial assistance, you may want to apply for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). (Please be aware that the counselling will be specifically related to the crime.) It is easier to apply for funding through CVAP if you have already reported to police but it is not necessary. If you need help with this application process, you can give us a call. Once you are approved for CVAP funding, we can help you find a counsellor that accepts CVAP as payment.

As a university or post-secondary student you may have some counselling benefits available to you – check your student insurance plan for details. If youโ€™re Indigenous, you may be eligible for counselling through the First Nations Health Benefits.
