Join us for a screening of The Prostitution Monologues on Friday, April 24 at 7pm (doors open at 6:30) at our Second Space (748 Kingsway). This powerful documentary film features 7 women recounting their experiences of violence and trauma, survival, resilience and solidarity.
Following the screening, our ally, Trisha Baptie, a survivor of prostitution and a leader in the Canadian abolitionist movement will offer her remarks on the film and respond to questions and comments from the audience.
This is a women-only event and the admission is free. RSVP at info[at]vrrws.ca
