Join us on Saturday, December 6th at our community organizing and public education centre: The Second Space, located at 748 Kingsway for a full day of conversation, everyone is welcome.
Our annual Montreal Massacre Memorial marks the misogynistic massacre that took place on December 6th, 1989, using the anniversary to both mourn the women lost to men’s violence and further strategize an end to the patriarchal environment that encourages it.

For the last four years, Vancouver Rape Relief has followed cases of domestic femicide in the province and held vigils to mourn those women. We’ll remember the women in BC who were murdered by men this year, to share what we know about them and the response femicide has received
12:00PM: What Men Say About Porn: Street interviews with Vancouver men
We hear the impact of pornography on women through our frontline work. In this session, we’ll share what we heard from men when we did some street interviews earlier this year.
1:00PM: Hope is a Woman’s Name: A conversation with Amal Elsana Alh’jooj
Amal Elsana Alh’jooj is an activist and I can’t describe her and her memoir better than this review here.
