An Ontario Court of Appeal decision about whether to fully legitimize pimping, brothel-keeping and buying women for sex, is scheduled for release Monday, March 26, 2012 and is awaited by the Women's Coalition for the Abolition of Prostitution, a pan-Canadian coalition of equality-seeking women’s groups. The coalition is an intervener in the appeal of the decision by Provincial-level Court Judge Susan Himel in the Bedford case effectively decriminalized pimping and brothel-keeping.

This morning, hundreds of participants from the 11th International Women’s Worlds Conference marched to Parliament in solidarity with the Sisters in Spirit initiative to condemn the unacceptable number of missing and murdered Aboriginal women in Canada.
